2010 in Review

Happy New Year, world! It’s that time again, time for my “Year in Review” post! 2010 was a busy, busy year – especially the second half when I started graduate school applications. I also traveled around quite a bit. Hopefully 2011 will be relatively calm but just as exciting!

-Celebrated New Year’s Eve/Day at Busch Gardens, Tampa
-Started my term as the 2010 Honors Congress President
-Orlando Magic vs Sacramento Kings basketball game
-20th birthday!

-Mardi Gras Frisbee Tournament in Baton Rouge, LA
-Flogging Molly concert at House of Blues Orlando

-Spring Break/2010 FIRST Robotics Florida Regional at UCF
-College Southerns frisbee tournament in GA
-Demetri Martin Live at UCF!

-Showcase of Undergraduate Research Excellence at UCF
-Cocoa Beach Easter Surf Fest!

-Trip to Jamaica
-Cage the Elephant concert at Club Firestone, Orlando

-Started research internship in Dahlgren, VA/Washington, D.C.
-MAST Americas Conference in Washington, D.C.
-Richmond Greek Festival
-Virginia Renaissance Festival (I’m such a dork, haha)

-4th of July in Washington, D.C.!
-Undersea Human Systems Integration Conference in Providence, RI

-Ended research internship
-1st attempt at the GRE
-Started my final undergraduate year

-Paramore concert at the UCF Arena
-Kings of Leon concert at the 1-800-Ask-Gary Amphitheater in Tampa, FL

-Epcot/Magic Kingdom Disney Trip with the roommates!
-UCF Homecoming!
-Ludacris/LMFAO concert at UCF Arena
-National Collegiate Honors Council Conference in Kansas City, Missouri
-2nd (and final!) attempt at the GRE

-Say Anything/Motion City Soundtrack concert at House of Blues Orlando (3rd time seeing them, got to photograph the bands!)
-Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: Part 1 midnight movie release!
-UCF vs Tulane football game in New Orleans, LA

-grad school apps due
-Started working at Dominos (gotta pay for those grad apps somehow!)
-C-USA Football Championship at UCF: UCF won!
-Cirque du Soliel: La Nouba!
-Went to my first NHL Hockey game: Tampa Bay Lightning vs Montreal Canadiens in Tampa
